Summary: This is an old and wonderful house right on the edge of Anchor Bay (part of Lake St. Clair) with clearly lots of good family memories imbued everywhere. I had planned to go with friends, but they all bailed on me so I made it a week-long quiet retreat with my dog, and we had a wonderful time of art-making and walking. We even saw the aurora borealis on night! I had a little trouble with using the electronic entry (likely my own confusion!). But this old house is updated with a lovely kitchen, useful appliances, and WiFi and even a hot tub! Keep in mind that it's on a very narrow street, the bay on one side and a canal on the other with houses very close to each other. But it's quiet and charming and very restful! Owners were super great about timely communications!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay here. The view of the lake was beautiful. The hot tub was perfect and we enjoyed the views of the sunset over the water. This home was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfy and each room had a fan and nice accommodations. We would definitely stay here again.
